Part 14

Maan just smiles: Geet why are you sleeping on the couch you can sleep on the other side of the bed…. I promise I wont……………

Geet did not allow him to complete his sentence and just walked towards the other side of the bed and slept…………

Next Morning

Maan woke up and saw a beautiful sight in front of him…….. He always wanted this to happen but not this way……….. He saw that Geet had already cuddled next to him and she was hugging him as if she is hugging some teddy……… He so much wanted to take her in his arms and just wanted to kiss her but some how controlled himself and kept on looking at her……… The desire to take her was taking on him………..He did not move an inch so that she does not get disturb……..  He just kept on looking at the angelic face sleeping on him………..

Maan(self talk): Geet I promise that you will fall in love with me one day the way I have completely on you………. But as of now I have to find out that what is bothering her…. What should I do…….. Should I talk to her…. Will she tell me………..

He saw that she was moving….. He immediately closed his eyes pretending to sleep……….

Geet opened her eyes…….. She felt that she had a very peaceful sleep… She saw herself that she was hugging Maan and then noticed Maan…… Firstly she was half asleep so she held him tightly but within a second she realised it that she was hugging Maan and sleeping……… She saw Maan who was peacefully sleeping according to her……… She got lost in him….. His arms, His face…….. His smile………. She just kept on looking at him…….. She also tried to move her hand forward to touch her handsome husband but stooped herself……… She was too shy to do anything………..

She immediately got up from there……… She felt something different…… She was shy to face look at him………. She had a small smile on her face…… She was somehow feeling different………

Geet (self talk): Geet you don’t even know how to sleep……… But I don’t know why I am felling that I actually had a sound sleep today……

She left from the bed and went to the washroom without realising that her clothes are in other room……….

As soon as Geet left to the washroom…….. Maan immediately opened his eyes and turned himself and smiled and said: Haiiiii…….. aaj ka din to bohot hi accha nikale ga……….. Today was my best morning………

He also gets up from the bed and goes to the attached terrace and stands and start recollecting about the moments which happened just few minutes ago………..

On the other side Geet comes out of the washroom cribbing herself…… She first sees here and there and notices that Maan is not there……..

Geet (self talk): Geet have you lost it today completely……… First in the morning you were staring at Maan like you are seeing it for the first time, then you went to the washroom without noticing that you don’t stay in this room…… gayi to gayi kapde bhi bhigo ke agagi….. Now with no option left I had to wear this Kurta of Maan and come out……… What if Maan sees…….. Hey Babaji but how do I go to the room with this clothes…… Ab mai kya karu…….. She starts pacing up and down in the room………..

At the same time Maan was coming out of the terrace to go to the gym and Geet was pacing up and down cribbing to herself……… They both banged themselves and Maan tried to control them by holding her waist but he could not and both lost their balance and fall on the bed….. Maan was down and Geet was on top of him……… The legs of Geet which were naked were tickling Maan……… Maan was completely lost in the beauty before her……….  Maan was holding Geet by her waist…… She was having a different feeling an unknown desire was developing in her unaware of her……… They were just looking at each other……… But this moment was disturbed by the phone ring of Maan………

That is when they realised that they were on each other on the bed…… Geet was feeling embarrassed to even move….. She put her head down…….. Infact she was shy to face him………

Finally to broke the silent Maan spoke……..

Maan: Geet agar tum mujpe se uthogi to mai phone le sakta hu……

Geet got more shy and her cheeks got completely red…… She tried to get up but again lost her balance and fall on Maan…… She did not know what to do…… Maan understood her position and made her carefully get up and then he stood and took the phone which was from the office……..

Geet was still in the same position standing don’t know what to do now……  While talking on the phone also Maan eyes were on Geet…….. He saw that she is thinking something….. As soon as the call got over Maan walked towards Geet….. and saw her…….. He understood her plight………

Maan thought it is too early to tease her as she is just opening with him…

Maan: Geet I think some of your dresses are still in the cupboard……..

Saying this he just walked away saying that he is going to Gym….. and turn to her says: By the way you are looking beautiful in this……..

He just walk away without even looking back with a smile…….. Geet is all shy….. She quickly grabs a dress and gets ready and goes down even before Maan comes……..

Maan was all ready to go to office when Geet stops her and says: By the way Mr. Khurana if you have forgotten I would remind you that you are not going to office till you are perfectly fine……..

Maan: But I am fine now…….. I went to gym also……..

Geet: Yes I can see that…….. the also noticed that you look very tired…….. So better go to your room and have rest………..

Maan: Geet I don’t have fever also………….

Geet: You have not had your medicine also………..

Just then Yash and Savitri comes………

Geet wishes them and also gave them breakfast………

Geet goes to Maan and gives him the medicine………. Maan just gives an angry look at Geet but Geet ignores it and just stands

Geet: Maan don’t behave like a kid and have this medicine fast and then go to the room and have rest……….

Maan: I will have this but I am going to office………

Geet: No means no……… can’t you understand what I am saying…..

Maan looks at Savitri for help but she pretends to eat…… But she is enjoying the sight before her……….. Even Yash just finishes his breakfast and was about to leave…… But just to tease Maan he says

Yash: Bro don’t worry I will take care of the office properly you take rest……..

Maan gives that deadly look to him…… Yash just runs away from there……

It was almost a week now Geet took proper care of Maan and Maan had fully recovered………. Geet also started getting use to sleep in the warmth of Maan…….. Maan was more then happy to take her in his arms but he use to be very careful that he did not ever crossed his limit……..  He did not want her to lose trust in him which she is developing……….. She started feeling something more for Maan then just a friend but she was not aware of the unknown feeling developing……..

Geet college had also started….. it was her final semester……….

Maan use to drop her to the college everyday and use to send a car to pick her up to office if he is in a meeting and if he is only in a office he would himself come to pick her up to take her to the office…….. On the way she would tell him everything that happened in the college…….. She was getting more and more comfortable with him around………….. In office he would see to it that she is always before his sight……… He use to pamper her but when it use to come for work he use to be very strict…… She kept on calling him Danav………

It was a very usual day for them……….. Maan dropped her to college and told her that he wont able to come today but will send a car to pick her up to come to office………

The college got over and Geet and Meera were waiting and talking on to each other…….. Meera was been called by someone in the college so she just told Geet that she will return in few minutes……… Geet was waiting for the car………

While she was standing she heard a noise……….

So darling finally I am able to see you after many days……

Geet was shocked to see Arjun standing……..

Geet: what do you want from me……

Arjun: I want you babes…………. you know how much I am been waiting for you to see and talk………. Come lets go somewhere………

Geet (was totally scared): Arjun what do you think of yourself………..

Arjun: tunhara Ashique………..

Arjun was just nearing her Geet without thinking just started running away and banged herself in Meera…… Meera got scared and looked at Geet who was breathing heavily………..  Geet was looking behind and when Meera followed her gaze she noticed that someone was looking at Geet………. She was not aware who that person is but she has seen him many times standing outside the college………….

Meera: Geet kya hua…….. Why are you running??? Who is he Geet………

Geet just kept on crying getting scared and hugged Meera tightly…… Till that time the car had also came…..

Meera: Geet chal…….. She led her towards a car…… Geet was scared and so Meera accompanied her……..

Meera was aware that Geet generally goes to office after college but today she told the driver to drop her home……..

After dropping Geet home, Meera went directly to office to talk to Yash about about it as of lately she is being noticing Geet to be very scared whenever she is alone………..

But as soon she came to office she noticed that Yash was not there….. He had gone to see some site……… She was walking back Maan saw her….. Maan was aware that she is Geet’s friend……..

Maan: Hi Meera how are you?? Where is Geet???

Meera: Who I mean…….. geet has gone home….. (She was confused whether to tell Maan or not)

Maan: Home?? Why? Uski tabiyaat to theek hai na………

Meera could see the tension in his eyes and so she decides to tell him whatever happens in the college………. She tells him how Geet got scared looking at someone and that someone was following her…….. She also tells that she is being seeing that person last many days but today he tried to cross the limit………….

Maan got very angry as he was aware that something was affecting her….. At the same time he also got a call from a private detective saying it was Arjun who is been following and troubling Geet……..

Maan had almost lost his temper……… Maan thanked Meera and said he will take care of that person very well……..

He went home and saw Geet lost in her thought…… He went to her said…..

Maan: Geet you still don't trust me…… hai na………. that is the reason you never told me anything hai na…….. That Arjun is being troubling you since so many days and you did not even said anything…… I cannot see you in trouble Geet…… You should have atleast told me once or I am still not trustworthy……….. I think I am not able to make a place in your heart so you don’t trust me……..

By saying this he just walks away……….
